Resorts and homestays in Lakkidi, Wayanad

Lakkidi sits at the top of the ghat road where travellers from Kozhikode first enter Wayanad, and it is one of the highest and rainiest spots in the district. Mornings are often wrapped in mist, and the famous Lakkidi View Point looks down over the hairpin bends. Pookode Lake and Vythiri are only minutes away. Stays here are mostly small resorts and cottages. Expect cool, wet weather for much of the year and very heavy rain in the monsoon, so choose a stay with easy road access if you travel between June and September.
